This painting is a little bit of an abstract one; A blind sinking Lion getting rescued by a Dove.
The painting is a reminder that our help comes from God.
The blind Lion represents our self-pride. Self-pride is something we might develop from several things, sometimes our looks or mostly from our accomplishments which could as a result make us unable to recognise where our help comes from.
We begin to view ourselves as Lions; powerful, in control and the determinant of our fate, and God as something rather insignificant and powerless; a Dove.
It only takes us failing to realise we have no power of our own.
This painting shows that regardless of how small and insignificant we see God, when we start sinking and reach out to him, He will always be there to rescue us.
